Visitors are welcome, but there are no "Public" days or times.  This is a hobby railroad.  We do not give rides just for the sake of doing it.  If you are interested in model railroading in any scale then email us about a visit.

Above and Below: Kent Bolerjack and Lynn Rupp from Terre Haute, Indiana take Kent's newly purchased Lionel 402 electric for a test run. The electrical control and traction motor system has been greatly upgraded since purchase.

With Zach Simunic at the controls he and Dad (Ron) exit the west portal of the 175' tunnel this fine October day.

Above and Below:    John Depaemelaere and Clyde Patterson, real professional Railroad men enjoy a light hearted trip around the New Unionville and Western.  John is Manager of Operating Practices for the INRD and Clyde is a BNSF Dispatcher on the Alameda Corridor at San Benardino, CA.  John and Clyde have been friends for many years. John is a former BNSF Road Foreman of Engines on the famous Cajon Pass on the Southern California Division.  John lives a mile from the New Unionville and Western and often stops by for a visit with his visiting friends and family.
Above and Below:    Don Cain a friend in this hobby for many years brought his newly constructed Rio Grande Southern "Goose" #5 down for a test run.  It operated flawlessly.  Donnie likes to construct models of novel pieces of real railroad equipment.
Below:   Clarence Cochran and Kent Bolerjact discussing Kent's design/build track leveling tool and Kent's latest project.  It's a water gauge for the tender on his "American" steam locomotive.  Clarence also helped the New Unionville and Western host an NMRA tour October the 8th. He brought his Roll Models electric engine and cars and gave the NMRA members tours of our railroad.
